Background
on the Album
-----Production on this album (if you can
call it that) took place during the summer of 1997.
At the time, Rob DeSaro and eD Madden were fresh from the break up of
their first band Whole
Bowl of Joes and were looking to record the best album they
could. However, with a limited
budget and lack of equipment, Vision Patch forged on. Using either Rob's
Tascam or eD's
Yamaha four tracks, they wrote and recorded some songs that they thought
were awesomely
produced at the time. However, as you can hear from the MP3's above,
the whole album pretty
much sucked. There are just guitars, bass, and vocals which are all
done badly. An attempt was
made to put drums on the tracks, as Rob and eD rented studio time in
Pearl Studios in Jersey
City. The drums came out horrible and were scrapped. What is left is
the mess posted above. So
try not to cringe too much as the early sounds of Vision Patch pollute
your speakers. Enjoy.
