-----In their pursuit of higher education, Vision Patch members (at the time the only
members) Rob and eD decided to screw the college system. Instead of taking more bullshit classes to fill credits, they made Tippy's their class. By signing up for an independent study in the spring of 2001, they turned their school into a recording studio.

Guided by their mentor Vin Wasted of The Cyclones they were able to not only gain access to decent recording equipment, but also college credits each. Sitting in on drums for Vision Patch was Jay of The 4th. After composing new songs, as well as some reworking a few from Donkey Punch, the five songs that sounded the best were decided on and recorded at the school.  Some overdubs were done in Noni's basement.

In addition to the 5 newly recorded songs, included on the album was Noni's Cookies from the Donkey Punch EP, Random from an unreleased demo, and a bunch of goofy recordings done in Noni's basement.  These recordings were done in between overdubs, most notably I've got a VT, dedicated to Vin Wasted. The product resulted in an album that sounded almost professional. The album was so well received thatIt Turns Gray was included in an independent motor cycle video. The evolution of Vision Patch still continues.
